52 Week Design Challenge Overview

In an effort to attempt to push myself creatively and to learn new, practical, applicable skills, I’ve decided to challenge myself to make 52 USABLE products in a year averaging 1 a week.

The reason I’m targeting 52 over 365 days instead of 1 per week is to allow for the flexibility of doing several small projects in a single week or do one large product over a span of several weeks.

In general, most projects will be catered to the automotive scene, and the general medium used will be 3d printing, but I’d also like to explore beyond that.

The aims of the products are to focus on the ability to be able to easily manufacture and distribute to customers with minimal issue.

So not only is this a project in attempting to design parts, it’s also a project on managing and distributing 52 or more products over the course of the year.

I will be updating this post periodically with the updated projects, but each project will have its own post detailing any challenges that might have arisen.
